OPEN a mailbox and receive mail in Honolulu in 24 hours

Yes you can open a mailbox without coming into our office. Some of our customers have opened a mailbox from other states, without ever stopping in the office. Once your box is established we can forward mail to any address (additional cost). We even forward to foreign countries.

To get started, download the three documents at the right and fax (808) 356-0473 back signed copies with your IDs. If you are not going to stop in our office, you will have to get the USPS 1583 notarized.

The United States Postal Service requires two things to open a Mailbox with us. The 1583 form must be filled out and signed by each person that will receive mail in the box. The USPS also require us to make a photo copy of approved forms of your ID. The following is a list of approved IDs.

Armed Forces ID
Valid driver’s license
Valid state ID
Government issued ID
University ID
Passport
Corporate ID
Alien Registration card
Current lease, mortgage, or deed
Voter registration card
Utility bill
Home or car insurance card
Vehicle registration card
Medical insurance card
Medical prescription card

The third item you need to sign and fax to us is the Mail A Box Center Honolulu service agreement. Don't forget to notify the USPS about your change of address. You can process the change of address online by clicking here.
